About Lucy
I would love to help others in A Level Biology, Geography and English Language as I feel that, while meeting requirements for a good grade is important by mastering how to answer exam style questions, it is crucial to have a clear understanding of the actual course content and be able to apply this to the real world instead of just a textbook.
In my own A Levels I benefitted most from sharing ideas and creating links between topics verbally to help me understand complex processes (particularly in Biology), however I think the opportunity to do this with others who can offer clarification and create confidence is limited. This is, therefore, what I aspire to do to help other students who are in the same position I found myself in previously.

Hello! I'm Lucy, an undergraduate student in Ecology and Conservation. After achieving the following A Level grades: Biology A, English Language A*,Geography A* and A* in a Level 3 Extended Project Qualification focused on Coral Reef Ecology, I am happy to help any A Level students gain confidence and enthusiasm within these subjects and related coursework.
I am new to tutoring, however all of my tutoring sessions will be a two way conversation, so I will ask about and focus on the aspects of each subject that you find the most challenging so that we can work through these together. I will endeavour to answer any questions you may have to the very best of my ability and research any I'm unable to answer for our next session, as well as create resources that suit your style of learning.
Each session will last 1 hour, and I am happy to help for short or longer time periods throughout your studies.
