About Arianna
As a Peruvian student studying at UC Berkeley, I have a deep passion for math and enjoy exploring its many intricacies. From calculus to linear algebra, I find great joy in diving deep into mathematical concepts and discovering their practical applications. As someone who is enthusiastic about math, I strive to help others develop their own passion for this subject through tutoring.
In my approach as a math tutor, I prioritize the needs of my students and work to create a supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and exploration. My approach as a math tutor is rooted in patience, empathy, and understanding. I believe that each student has unique strengths and areas for improvement, and it is my job to identify those and tailor my teaching style accordingly. I prioritize building a strong rapport with my students by actively listening to their concerns and learning preferences. In terms of teaching style, I strive to simplify complex mathematical concepts through real-world examples and relatable scenarios. Additionally, I encourage my students to take an active role in their learning by asking questions, seeking clarification and practicing problem-solving independently. Above all, my goal is to help my students build confidence and a deep understanding of math that extends beyond just getting the right answer.
