About Andy
Hi there, my name is Andy and I am a first-year psychology student at Western University. I received the Western Scholarship of Distinction for entering the school with an average of 97%. I am originally from Toronto and have previous experience teaching high school and Spirit of Math students. I am confident in explaining math concepts. In high school, I received a 99% in all math courses, except for calculus which I scored 95%. In university, I am currently taking calculus, and I scored 99% in the midterm. I know my material well enough to teach it.

My lessons are for elementary, middle, and high school students. A typical lesson plan will include working through homework problems first before providing additional enrichment and resources. We will explore some of the extra content, but I will also leave some homework. I like to work collaboratively with the tutee in problem-solving so they feel confident about questions they have not seen before. My goal is to teach understanding, not memorizing, but I will also provide advice on some ideas that need to be memorized.
