About Barna
My name is Barna. I’m originally from Hungary, but I currently live and study in London. Geography has been a lifelong passion of mine. While studying in Hungary, I took part in numerous national and international geography competitions, including the International Geography Olympiad, where I placed seventh overall and earned a gold medal — the best result ever achieved by a Hungarian participant. Through these competitions, I became very familiar with the GCSE and A-level geography curriculum in the UK. I am now studying Earth and Planetary Sciences at Imperial College London, where I rank among the top students in my year. I'm a highly motivated and friendly tutor, with a great passion for travel.

I’m highly motivated and genuinely excited to share my passion for geography with others. I have previous experience helping students prepare for competitions, and I’m confident I can bring the same energy and effectiveness to tutoring. My goal is to make lessons fun, engaging, and approachable, while also ensuring they are insightful and academically rewarding. My lessons would be around 50-60 minutes long for anyone who wants to gather some extra knowledge before the GCSEs or A levels. In case someone is interested in preparing for international geography competitions, I am happy to help with that as well.
