About William
My name is William and I was born here in Bangor, Gwynedd. Not long after turning 5 I moved to Ireland where I began learning Gaeilge, the Irish language. It is here that my love for linguistics started. As a native speaker of English, I felt it lacklustre that I knew a lot about the evolution and function of the Irish language, yet not my own. I studied Old and Middle English in my spare time whilst studying and would also study classical literature. It became a passion of mine to teach people I met small facts about the English language here and there. When I moved back to the UK for university, I would be approached by friends for one on one English lessons. It wasn't enough for me to teach just a few people, so I decided to become a tutor and make the English language accessible for all!

My lessons are for everybody! No matter who you are it is essential to know and understand the English language, especially when here in Britain. I will teach literature (including poetry, epics, novels, etc.), English language (how to speak, how the language functions, native phrases and modes of speaking) and reading and writing skills. I teach at beginner, intermediate, advanced and native levels so my lessons are accessible for all. Lessons will run for at maximum an hour and a half, however the content can move based on whatever you desire.
