About Jordan
Hi, my name is Jordan Collazo! When I was 6 years old, I found a passion for acting during a summer theater program. From that point on I've been on a quest to improve my craft and become a better artist. During my high school career, I've performed in Guys and Dolls as Nathan Detroit, In The Heights as Usnavi, and many more. Since coming to NYU, I've been featured in a handful of short films, as well as 2 feature-length films. My most recent stage performance at NYU was their mainstage production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream as Egeus and Fairy. My goal now is to share my knowledge and experience with prospective students.

My goal is to give an actor the tools and foundation they need to step onto the stage or in front of the screen and succeed. Every class will begin with breath and body warm-ups to help you drop into your voice and release tension. These warm-ups are crucial to getting you tapped into your "actor's body" that allows you to speak and move from a centered state of readiness. From here I will create a specialized lesson based on your needs, whether that be for an audition, a self-tape, a performance, etc.
