About Nujhat Alam

As a tutor, my goal is to help students develop a deep understanding of the subject matter while also building their confidence and love for learning. Although I don't have formal certifications for teaching, I have several years of experience working with students one-on-one, both in person and online.

As a CS student at Illinois Tech, I have a strong foundation in mathematics and problem solving, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and in a way that is accessible to students of all levels. I understand the challenges that students face when learning new material, and I am patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout the learning process.

In my teaching style, I focus on student-centered learning, which means that I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual student. Whether I'm teaching math or other science subjects, I use a variety of techniques to make the material engaging and interactive, such as real-world examples, interactive worksheets, and games.

As a tutor, I am also a good listener and communicator, and I am always available to answer questions and provide feedback. I understand that every student is different, and I work hard to create a supportive and encouraging environment that empowers my students to achieve their academic goals.

Overall, I am confident in my ability to help students succeed, and I look forward to working with you to achieve your academic goals.

As a tutor, I strive to create engaging and interactive lessons that empower my students to develop a deep understanding of the subject matter. Whether I'm teaching math to young children or university preparation to international students, I prioritize student-centered learning that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In my math lessons, I use a variety of techniques to help students visualize and understand mathematical concepts, including interactive worksheets, games, and real-world examples. My goal is to make math accessible and enjoyable for all students, no matter their level of experience or confidence.

For academic English lessons, I focus on building fundamental language skills, such as grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, while also incorporating reading and writing exercises that challenge students to think critically and express themselves effectively. I believe that learning English should be fun and engaging, and I work hard to create a supportive and encouraging environment for my students.

Finally, in my university preparation lessons for international students, I draw on my own experience studying abroad to provide guidance and support as students navigate the complex application process. From writing personal statements to preparing for interviews, I help students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in a competitive academic environment.

Overall, my lessons are designed to challenge and inspire students, while also providing the guidance and support they need to achieve their academic goals. I look forward to working with you!
