Hi! I’m Kiana, 20, and I genuinely love learning and helping others grow. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed or unsure in certain subjects, and that’s exactly why I want to teach: to make school feel clearer, simpler, and more manageable for my students. My personal approach to studying focuses on building strong foundations, staying organised, and learning in a way that actually sticks, not just for the test, but long-term. I break complex ideas into simple, digestible parts and use active techniques like practice questions, spaced repetition, and real-world examples to make content easier to understand and remember. I also tailor study strategies to each student’s learning style, helping them find methods that feel natural and sustainable, whether that’s visual aids, hands-on practice, or structured note-taking. Most importantly, I prioritise consistency and confidence, teaching students how to study smarter, stay motivated, and take control of their learning. Lessons would be for NCEA levels 1,2,3.
