About Yosha
Hi, my name is Yosha! I’m a third-year undergraduate student studying Political Science and Psychology on a pre-law track in the United States. I earned my TESOL certification from Arizona State University and have experience teaching English and guitar. I grew up in Bangalore, India, and graduated from an online American high school at just 15. With no consultants, no expensive services, and no external help, I navigated the entire U.S. college admissions process by myself—from standardized tests and essays to extracurriculars and financial aid. At 16, I was admitted to a public Ivy League university in the U.S., and now, I want to use my firsthand experience and expertise to help others do the same. I’m currently on a gap year and during this time, I taught English in Thailand and I plan on continuing to explore Southeast Asia this year while also teaching and mentoring students. After graduating from college, I plan on going to law school and becoming a lawyer before running for public office in the US. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about traveling (a lot haha!), reading, writing, playing the guitar, binge-watching movies and TV shows, and having deep conversations about politics and philosophy. I also love teaching and meeting new students!
