About Weston
I am Weston Ding. I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UCLA in 2015. I have tutored many subjects since high school and I began tutoring professionally in 2016 starting with Mathnasium. I obtained my Teaching Credential in Mathematics in 2017 from Cal State LA after working in many different local schools. I obtained my Master's degree in Education Technology from Cal State LA and built web tools for learning mathematics in 2020 and also added on an English Teaching Credential. Since then, I have provided tutoring for many subjects including for the SAT and college programs as well as support for people trying to become teachers.

I teach math using methods to make learning easy to visualize, retain, and fun. I break down difficult concepts and help students learn and understand from the foundations of the concepts. I don't just provide homework help, I make sure the students understand the assignment from the foundational concepts upward and are ready for tests and next steps of learning. I also help the students understand why they are learning what they are learning and help them find further motivation and see the reward of success at the peak of the mountain.
