About Spencer
I am a Computer Science and Mathematics major at UCLA (Class of 2029) with a 3.91 GPA and a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST). My academic background is built on a deep understanding of STEM, having scored 5s on AP Physics C (Mechanics & E&M), AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and AP CS, followed by advanced coursework in Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Quantum Physics.
For the past two years, I have translated this expertise into results for my students, teaching everything from elementary math to AP Physics and AP Calculus BC, helping my students achieve 4s and 5s to get them college credit.

My goal is to provide support exactly when it is needed most. I believe tutoring is most effective when it addresses immediate hurdles, which is why I operate on an 'as-needed' schedule. This allows students to book a session whenever they feel stuck on a school topic, ensuring that we focus 100% of our time on high-priority learning. I customize every lesson to fit the student's unique learning style and am happy to build custom study guides or practice quizzes. Plus, I support my students even after the session ends: I offer free offline reviews of homework or practice problems to double-check their understanding before they turn assignments in. If students would like me to teach ahead of their class’s schedule, I could also do so given the schedule of the class and notes/slides from their teacher.
