About Imogen Lilly
I’m a recent MSc UCL graduate in Space Engineering, with a strong academic background in science and mathematics. I specialise in GCSE Physics, Biology, and Maths, and I can teach up to A-level Chemistry, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades.
I understand that STEM subjects can feel overwhelming. My approach is calm, structured and supportive. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps so students truly understand, rather than just memorise.
Having worked through a demanding academic path myself, I know how important the right guidance is. I focus not only on exam technique and problem-solving, but also on building confidence and motivation.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, whether that’s catching up, improving predicted grades, or aiming for top university entry.

Lessons are practical and focused on what the student actually needs. We’ll go through exam-style questions together, identify where things are going wrong, and fix those gaps properly rather than just rushing through content.
I explain concepts step by step and make sure students can apply them independently before we move on. If something doesn’t click the first way, I’ll approach it differently through things like diagrams, worked examples, or breaking it down into smaller parts.
Sessions are usually 60 minutes and tailored around current school topics, upcoming exams, or longer-term confidence building.
