About Ravindu
I am currently studying Electronic & Electrical Engineering at UCL, where I apply advanced Maths and Physics daily in problem-solving and technical analysis. I achieved A* grades in both subjects at A-Level and developed a strong interest in understanding concepts deeply rather than memorising methods.
I enjoy teaching because I remember how challenging these subjects can feel, especially when explanations are rushed or unclear. My goal is to make complex ideas accessible, logical and manageable, helping students build confidence as well as competence. I am patient, structured and focused on steady progress.
I aim to provide a professional, reliable and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves to achieve higher grades.

My lessons are structured, focused and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin with a short diagnostic to identify strengths and weaknesses, then create a clear improvement plan targeting both understanding and exam technique. I break down complex Maths and Physics problems into logical, manageable steps, ensuring students understand the reasoning behind every method rather than memorising procedures.
Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes and include guided examples, exam-style practice and structured homework where appropriate. I place strong emphasis on exam technique, mark scheme awareness and time management — key factors in achieving top grades.
As a UCL Electronic & Electrical Engineering student who achieved A* in Maths and Physics, I apply these subjects daily and understand what is required at GCSE and A-Level. My goal is not only grade improvement, but building confidence and independent problem-solving skills that last beyond exams.
