About Iain
I’m a macroeconomist, grounded in a strong mathematic and quantitative basis. I’m passionate about helping students develop a strong understanding of maths, and hope to inspire real confidence in applying it.
I find it key to create an environment where the student is comfortable in expressing themselves, and I do so by making lessons clear, approachable, and engaging — creating a space where questions are always encouraged and no topic is off-limits. Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with tricky concepts, or just want to deepen your understanding, I’m here to help you feel supported and motivated.
I have always enjoyed taking time to tutor my peers, their siblings and family relatives. My former maths students range from Year 4 to undergraduate level, and I have also coached a university football team.
