About Pierce
I am a 2nd year chemical engineering student who studies in UCD. I achieved 7 H1’s in the 2023 Leaving Certificate. I have always had a love for STEM subjects and hope to share my passion with others and help them learn effectively. I believe that with the right guidance and approach, anyone can grasp these topics and hopefully enjoy them as much as I do. I understand that math and science hold importance beyond exams and help us build logic, reasoning, and creativity skills. Whether you are preparing for exams, struggling with particular topics, or looking to excel, I’m here to make math and science engaging, relatable, and achievable.

I focus on making challenging topics across maths and science more approachable by breaking them down into simpler, more manageable sections. My aim is to help students improve problem solving skills, study skills and confidence when answering questions. I am an enthusiastic and positive teacher with a passion for maths and science and a goal to get the best out of students. My sessions typically last around 60 mins and are available in person or online. Lessons are suitable for students of all levels and abilities looking to improve their knowledge and results. Lessons can be personalized and catered to the needs of individual students.
