UBC Sauder undergrad giving Academic English tutoring lessons in person and online

Sarah is an excellent teacher because she personally helped me become a better writer. We have been in the same English class for 2 years and she has guided me into becoming a better essay writer. She really takes the time to help me understand my mistakes grammatically as well as giving me amazing feedback to work on for my next assignments. She always proof reads my work and colour codes all my mistakes neatly and adds comments to guide my writing in the right direction. Her help has allowed me to love the English subject and has really given me good advice for my future. She carries a lot of patience and provides exceptional peer review. She has a great passion for English and would make an amazing teacher!

Sarah is my childhood best friend and we’ve known each other since we were five and she has always kept her word in any circumstance and is easy to open up with. She has had a lot of experience teaching kids as she volunteered at kids camp and guided them through activities as well as teaching children how to swim as part of her lifeguard requirements. She has also personally taught me how to snowboard and she has a very understanding and patient attitude towards her students and she is able to explain methods in unique matters. She has also explained many math concepts to her peers including myself and she is able to explain herself multiple times using different methods. Overall Sarah is a very trustworthy person and deeply cares about teaching her students and she would make an exceptional teacher.

Sarah is extremely patient and is always available to help me out. Not only is she trustworthy and reliable she really cares about my learning. Really recommend!
