About Natashia
I taught preschool for 8 years. I taught elementary school for 1 year, and I have been tutoring since I started college in 2012. I have tutored numerous students and adults during the past 5 years. My greatest accomplishments have been the adults I have worked with. I helped a 33 year old who hasn't been to school since he was in 10th grade obtain his GED.

I am currently a senior at TWU. I am working on a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Education. I have already passed the TExES math 7-12 certification test to teach 7-12th grade math. I graduated from Collin College with an Associate's degree in general studies, as well as an Associate's degree in Teaching in May of 2016. I have been tutoring since I started college in 2012. I have tutored every grade level from 2nd grade to 8th grade, and adults working on their GEDs. I have been teaching since 2008. I have worked in a public school setting for the past two years. Last year I was the computer lab teacher at Tomas Rivera Elementary. When the students came to the computer lab, I performed math interventions for 2nd-5th grade while they worked on a math program called Reasoning Mind. I also pulled small groups of 4th graders for tutoring and STAAR test prep as well. My method of teaching is to embrace math in a real world perspective. People always ask, "What am I ever going to use math for?" I answer that question by attempting to make math relatable to every day life.
