About Cassus
I’ve taken part in two years of a rock camp, and two years of guitar lessons to learn fingerpicking and more classical styles. The two years of lessons were to learn on acoustic guitar at MacPhail. I’m going to college at St. Olaf, which has a great music program! All throughout high school, I’ve been in the IB music program. IB is like AP classes, but harder. There’s a lot more focus on music theory and study.

Anyone who’s willing to learn, I’m willing to teach. I really focus on the beginning foundations of guitar to build up good habits to make complex skills more natural. Because of how much I love playing, I enjoy watching others catch on! Let me teach you, I always try to make things more enjoyable! I prefer to work with ages 12-18. I decide with the student a song to work towards, and do smaller activities that build up.
