Tutoring in philosophy from recent First Class Oxford University graduate (A-Level, IB, Oxbridge admissions)

About Oliver
I help students to engage with philosophy at a deeper level, giving them the knowledge and the critical thinking skills to excel at their chosen subject. Based on my experience of the Oxford tutorial system, I help students develop their understanding through hour long discursive sessions where we jointly review a piece of work the student has submitted or a reading I have set.
I am particularly looking forward to working with A-Level and IB students, but am open to working with students studying towards other qualifications or who are interested in exploring philosophy ahead of University applications.

Hi! I'm Oliver. I recently graduated with an MSci (integrated master's degree) in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Oxford. During my time as a student, I received numerous prizes and scholarships. Most notably, I received the rare distinction of 'Congratulatory First' in my final classification. I have extensive experience tutoring secondary-level students having previously worked as a Teaching Assistant and Instructor at the 'Centre for Talented Youth Ireland' (a super-curricular programme for gifted children in Ireland).
I'm excited to teach curious and enthusiastic students who are looking to excel in philosophy!
