About Macie
My name is Macie and I am currently a student Paramedic Science at the University of Stirling. I have always wanted to be a paramedic as I have had fantastic experiences seeing their work in local communities growing up. I spent my last 5 years volunteering at my local youth centre as a young person then as a youth leader and in that time I found that I love to work with people. Tutoring, more than anything, is giving me another chance to work on a 1-to-1 or close basis with others again, and it will aid me in my experience working with the public before I qualify. In high school, I greatly enjoyed the biology course as a whole at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher and I want to help others enjoy the subject as well.

Starting with outlining goals for subject and gauging skillset and struggles. Student centric - whether or not just a little extra support is needed, subject area needs re-explained or guided self-study. There will be continuous use of course specification given by the SQA or other governing bodies to ensure all lessons stay relevant and on track. Sessions are between 1 and 2 hours long. Lessons for Biology students studying at National 5 or Higher level.
