About Thanusa
Are you looking for a tutor that will adapt to the students' needs and provide the best possible learning experience for them? Then look no further! I am a graduate in Biochemistry with a 1st Class honours who is going to study Dentistry at Queen's University of Belfast and looking to make a difference in other students' lives. Studying does not have to be a chore, it can be very enjoyable. I am aware that some students require extra help than others with certain content, hence I aim to tailor my teaching methods to suit the student. Having completed work experience at a Secondary and a Primary school I know the level of expectation required from the school and I am here to help you achieve that. Whether you want help with schoolwork or teach specific subjects I am here to help. My teaching methods are more interactive. I like to do quizzes at the end of every session to test the knowledge the student has gained in the lesson and previous lessons whilst keeping a track of their progress. If a student is unsure about something they have learnt at school and would want to go over it in the lesson I would prefer them to message me earlier so I can prepare material to help them understand the content fully. I will also set some homework for them to complete, which will allow both the student and me to check their understanding of the topic. Overall, I am a tutor who wants the best learning experience for the student and will ensure that they get all the help they require to thrive at school.
