About Michael

Hi, I'm Michael Murr. Software engineer with 10+ years of experience, and your tutor for coding in the AI era.

I started coding at 11, when my dad showed me my first lines of HTML. I never looked back. I went on to study engineering, build a decade-long career as a software engineer, and founded AI Tutor Code, where I teach the one skill that actually matters in 2026: building real things with AI, not just writing code by hand.

Here is the shift nobody prepared you for. The developers winning today are not the ones who memorize syntax. They are the ones who can direct AI tools to ship real software, fast. Claude Code, Cursor, AI agents, prompt engineering, LLM workflows. Employers are scrambling for this skill set, and most courses have not caught up.

My foundation runs deep. Python, C#, Java, C++, real software engineering from the ground up. That is exactly why I can teach you to use these AI tools properly, like an engineer, instead of just poking at them and hoping they work.

Wherever you are, I will take you further. A Python developer moving into AI. A professional who needs to build faster. A complete beginner who wants to start in the right era from day one. I meet you where you are and get you building things you did not think were possible yet.

Let's start. I'll see you very soon!
Michael

This is not another learn to code course. You do not need to know how to code to start, and I will not make you learn Python first unless your goal genuinely needs it.

Every session is live and one to one. Nothing is pre-recorded. There is no chapter one. We start from what you already have and whatever is blocking you right now.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Most of my students look like this:

. A manager or team lead who wants to automate the admin. Reports, decks, research, intake forms, the work that eats your week.
. A professional whose company just adopted AI and now expects them to know it. New role, new tooling, no training.
. A founder or small business owner who would rather build the thing themselves than pay an agency for it.
. A designer, analyst, PM or marketer who wants to ship real projects without hiring a developer.
. A developer who wants to move from writing code by hand to directing agents.

You do not need to fit one of these neatly. If you have work you want to hand over to AI and you do not know where to start, that is the whole job.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO

. Connect AI to the tools you already use. Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Gmail, Drive, GitHub, Notion, your CRM.
. Automate the repetitive parts of your job. Research, reporting, drafting, data pulls, scheduled tasks.
. Build your real project together. A website, an app, a content pipeline, an internal tool. Yours, not a practice exercise.
. Set your environment up properly. VS Code, the terminal, GitHub, version control, picking the right model for the job.
. Learn the concepts that make the tools behave. Context windows, CLAUDE.md, agent skills, MCP and connectors, prompting, handing work between sessions.
. Vibe coding, done properly. Building from prompts, and knowing how to check the result instead of hoping.

WHAT PEOPLE ASK ME BEFORE THEY BOOK

Do I need to know how to code? No. You can start with the tools immediately. People who know a little code do get better results, because they can spot when something is wrong, so we cover as much as your goal needs and nothing more.

Will the tokens cost me a fortune? For almost everyone, no. A flat subscription covers it and there is nothing to track. Token billing only applies if you use the API directly. I will show you how to read your own usage in an early session.

I already pay for ChatGPT or Copilot. Do I have to switch? No. I will tell you honestly where each tool is strongest and we work with what you have.

Will this work with my company's stack? Cloud tools usually connect directly. Self hosted and enterprise setups sometimes need a workaround that we build together, and occasionally something will not connect at all. I will tell you which one you are looking at before you pay, not after.

Can you just build it for me? No. I build it with you. If I hand you the finished thing, you are back here next month with the next problem.

HOW IT WORKS

A free 30 minute call first. Two goals: I understand what you want, and we both check whether I am the right person for it. No pressure to commit. By the end you either have a clear path or you have this in your back pocket for whenever the timing works.

Then start small. Most people begin with 5 or 10 hours. Hours never expire. Only live session time is billed, so preparation and anything I do between sessions is on me.

Send me your project, your blockers or your tool list before the first session and I will come prepared.

  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

My dad was a software engineer, so I actually have photos of me as a baby sitting in his lap, behind a computer screen, in 1998 (when I was 2 years old), and typing something out. So I don't actually remember my first experience on a computer. But the one I do remember is when I was about 8 years old and my father introduced me to HTML. a language that allows you to build websites using code. I have never looked back since then.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

I would definitely say it is AI. I built my first neural network when I was about 16 using Python. It was very simple, just recognizing numbers that were handwritten on it. But the fact that the program kept receiving examples and improving its score based on the number of examples, i.e., learning to read my handwriting, was fascinating. And I integrate AI into all technologies I teach, from game development to Python programming.
  • Explain your expertise, your interest in it, and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

I'm an expert game developer. Some people frown when they hear that. believing that game development is a simple task or not being as professional and not understanding that games are a multibillion-dollar industry that can be far more complex than any other software. Teaching is unquestionably more interesting. But game development is not my only outlet. I also have complete mastery of Java, Python, C, C++, and C#. Also, visual scripting using nodes.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

I only have 1 role model when it comes to programming. My dad.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

When I went to study engineering at the university, I was already an expert programmer in many languages, and one of them was C. I remember we had a class in C during our second semester, and the teacher had a hard time explaining a concept to the class of almost 100 students. Out of frustration, I asked for permission to go up and explain the concept, and everyone was like, "Ohhhh." That moment also helped me recognize the concept. I'm not just an expert at programming; I'm an expert teacher of the concepts I know as well.
  • What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

I'd tell him or her. Nobody in the history of humanity was ever born an expert. We're all born naked and bald with barely any physical or cognitive abilities. Yet we've seen people build rocket ships and go to the planets previously, though that was beyond our reach. I would probably tell him that nothing stays complicated forever in the face of a person who's in relentless pursuit of excellence and knowledge in any field.
  • What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

I practice Muay Thai. I believe that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Working long hours behind a desk with your eyes fixed on a screen for 10 hours a day, six days a week can take a toll on the human body and mind. So exercising is very important to me. I want to do this for a long time and provide as much as I can with the time that I have. That's why health is the most important thing to me. In my opinion, money takes a back seat to health.
  • What makes you a Superprof in IT?

My expertise is in various different programming languages. My years and years of experience in diverse fields related to programming Graduating from university as a software engineer was my academic achievement. But, most importantly, I have the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that anyone can understand while also making it enjoyable.
