About Zara
I am a school leaver currently on a gap year working as a teaching assistant at a prep school. I love tutoring and have been a tutor for students living locally for a few months now. I love seeing students fully understand topics and concepts which they previously lacked confidence in.

I take an individual approach to private tutoring, tailoring my lessons to the student and their needs. I introduce my students to a range of effective revision techniques and re-cap what was previously learnt to ensure retention of knowledge. I also use past papers to cement knowledge and to familiarise the student with the format in which they will be examined to ease any anxiety they may have, and improve their confidence overall. I recommend that lessons are 60 minutes to ensure concentration and consolidation. I'm able to tutor children from the ages of 7-18 in a range of subjects, notably English, Geography, RS and Biology up to GCSE level. I can also tutor in Geography up to A Level.
