About Euan
I have studied the trumpet since age 8, and have held principal trumpet positions with several Yorkshire based orchestras, as well as brass tutor positions and regular ‘dep’ work. I have also performed as a soloist and within chamber ensembles in concerto and competition settings.

My teaching ideology revolves around the need for the student to make a beautiful sound, which comes right from getting the basics right- breathing well!! From here, we explore the more technical side of playing, to allow for a convincing and commanding MUSICAL performance
