About Michael
Currently I’m a military musician transitioning from the Air Force into the Navy. I play and record classical, jazz, and pop/rock concerts and music videos, produce concerts, teach masterclasses for instrumentalists, and manage publicity/graphic design for our band.
Prior to military work, I played in symphony orchestras, musical theatre pits, and taught private music lessons from the University level to brand new beginners as well as a course on woodwind and brass instrumental methods for undergraduate music education majors. I also did backstage managment for a university performance hall.

A student’s culture, language, and personality offer the best medium to introduce new information and enhance previously/partially learned concepts. I am the informed guide to those who need that, and the inquisitive mentor for those who need that. Each person learns in a unique way and offering them the best delivery method is how I teach.
