About Leah
Hi! I'm Leah, and I went from hating maths in year 11, to somehow taking a maths based degree at university!
I think that being someone who absolutely detested maths and believed I was horrible at it all through secondary school has left me in the unique position of understanding how struggling students are feeling/ where they are coming from AND being able to help them.
I am a Computer Science student at Trinity College Dublin, so I often work with maths as part of my degree. I have an enhanced DBS check that allows me to work with students while they are in school in the U.K., so you can be assured of my reliability and professionalism :)

My main tutoring style is through explaining a concept or method if someone doesn't understand it, and asking the tutee questions myself to help them realise that they do know how to get the answer, even if they don't know that themselves. I can help boost your confidence as well as helping you with maths :)
I also understand how hard it is right now with online schooling- my degree is currently 100% online, and I'm studying mandarin independently as well.
I have been working as an online tutor for several months on the mytutor website, and I have worked with students from year 6 up to year 11.
