About Maren
I am a third year English student and I also already teach at a secondary school. I have passed both my IB and CPE exams and therefore have a good and extensive knowledge of the language. In addition to my academic achievements, I am intrinsically very enthusiastic about the English language and English culture. So I have the combination of knowledge and enthusiasm, which is vital for a good teacher.

My method of teaching is personal: I look at what you need as a student and adjust my lessons and additional lessons accordingly. It's all about you! My lessons are often structured like this: I introduce the topic by using a nice attention-grabber (for example a quiz or Pictionary), then I explain the topic step by step (e.g.: rules and examples) and then we work on practice exercises. Through this, you'll learn to memorise, apply and reproduce grammar/spelling/ vocabulary.
