About Kristin
I am a history student currently studying in England, I've completed one year of my BA Honours degree and I'm entering my second year.
Although I am keen to research and teach any historical area, my speciality areas are in;
- Irish & Northern Irish
- Modern British (1850+)
- German
- Russian
- The history of the World Wars
During my A-Levels, I have produced and made revision packs (sold on Stuvia) to many pupils, all of which I have 5* reviews.
I have achieved A's in my GCSE and GCE History examinations, all of which was a result of my hard work and determination. I strive to help students that are struggling to achieve their best because as a student myself, I understand the pressure and stress that exams cause.
I have previous coaching and tutoring experience.

My teaching method is based online at the moment due to COVID 19, but I provide revision packs if required and I will set work to be completed at the end of a class. This work I will then check and provide feedback on.
As I am an university student, I will be in Huddersfield from September through to June, and during this period I am available to tutor in person, face to face. Online tuition is still available during this term period if preferred.
I believe that listening to the pupil is the key to successful lesson, so if a pupil is unsure in a particular area or has concerns, these concerns will be concentrated on until the pupil restores confidence in that subject area.
I will provide a contact email for students/parents who need to contact me outside of tuition hours, so if you are unsure please feel free to send an email and I will answer your queries as soon as I possibly can.

Details
Cancellation policy of lessons;
- If I am not contacted at LEAST 12hours in advance, I request that I am paid for my loss of time. As a student myself, I am still researching for my own degree as well as tutoring other students so I cannot have time wasters.
- If you need to cancel a lesson for whatever reason, please let me know at least 12 hours before and we can reschedule to a different date and time. This is no problem, providing I am made aware of the change in advance and not at last minute.
- Failure to show for a lesson will also mean an immediate charge.
