About Emmanuel
My name is Emmanuel Peter, and I’m passionate about helping students understand subjects that once confused them. I studied Theology and have experience explaining concepts in simple, relatable ways to friends, classmates, and younger students.
For me, teaching is not just about covering the syllabus. It’s about building confidence. I remember struggling with Mathematics in school until someone broke it down for me. That moment changed everything. I want to be that person for other students.
*Why I want to teach online:*
Online teaching removes barriers. A student in Abuja, Lagos, or anywhere in the world can get quality help without spending time or money on transport. It’s flexible, so I can give each student my full attention, track their progress, and send quick follow-ups on WhatsApp. Technology also lets me use visuals, past questions, and interactive tools that make lessons stick better than traditional “talk and chalk”.
My goal is simple: to make learning clear, stress-free, and result-driven. If a student leaves my class saying “Ah, so that’s how it works!”, then I’ve done my job.
I’m not just a tutor. I’m a guide, a motivator, and someone who genuinely cares that you pass and understand. Let’s learn together.

Learning online can feel boring or confusing if the tutor just reads notes. I teach differently. My goal is simple: help you understand, pass your exams, and actually enjoy the subject.
First, I make lessons about YOU, not the textbook.* In our first class, I’ll ask you to show me 1 question you struggled with. We’ll fix that gap together before we move on. No generic teaching. If you’re weak in fractions, we’ll master fractions before touching algebra.
Second, I keep you engaged. 1 hour on Zoom doesn’t mean 1 hour of me talking. You’ll solve questions, explain concepts back to me, and use real examples. “Mole concept = counting bags of rice.” “Quadratic equations = finding where a ball lands.” When lessons make sense, you remember them.
Third, I track your progress. Every week you’ll see proof you’re improving: more past questions correct, faster solving time, better confidence. I also send short updates to parents so everyone knows we’re on track. No guessing.
Finally, I respect your time. I start and end on time. I respond quickly on WhatsApp. I’ll even send you 1 practice question between classes so learning doesn’t stop.
