About Jasmine
I am currently pursuing a course on Karanas and the Natyashastra under Padma Bhushan Guru Dr. Padma Subramanyam(Chennai). I have trained under world renowned dancers- Guru Sri Parshwanath Upadhye(Bangalore) and Dr. Himanshu Srivastava(New Delhi). I am otherwise an English Honours Graduate from Miranda House College for Women, University of Delhi.

My bani is Kalakshetra. I stress on strong foundation and basics. My classes begin with a structured warm up. Emphasis on body awareness, alignment, flexibility, strength and stamina is laid along with rigorous and insightful practice. Owing to my practice in ashtanga yoga, my classes enable students to understand the body dynamics in the dance movements. I keep motivating my students and then give them dance goals which when they complete makes them jump with joy!
