About Janhavi
I am a dedicated and results-driven GCSE and A-Level tutor specialising in Economics and Mathematics, with a strong academic background and proven teaching experience. I hold a BSc in Economics and am currently completing my Master’s degree at the University of Manchester. I completed my secondary and higher secondary education under the ICSE and ISC boards, which are equivalent to UK GCSEs and A-Levels. (I am an Indian so you know I am good at Maths lol) I have over 1.5 years of independent tutoring experience, during which I have supported students in achieving strong academic outcomes, including top grades and merit-list placements. I am known for my clear explanations, structured lessons, and exam-focused approach. I aim to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and well-prepared to succeed.

My teaching style is structured, exam-focused, and student-centred. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and syllabus (GCSE or A-Level), focusing on building strong conceptual understanding and exam confidence. Complex topics are broken down into clear, logical steps, with regular practice using exam-style questions and mark schemes. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include a brief recap, explanation of new content, guided practice, and clarification of doubts. Longer or intensive revision sessions can be arranged when needed. I hold a BSc in Economics (Minor in Finance) and am currently completing an MSc at the University of Manchester. I have over 1.5 years of independent tutoring experience, with students achieving top academic results, including class toppers and merit-list placements. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students (ages 14–18) of all abilities, whether they need foundational support, revision, or help aiming for top grades.
