Carina has excelled in all her studies (especially math) since secondary school and will not hesitate to explain math problems and solutions to her classmates and friends. She’s a patient, cheerful and intelligent friend, and I believe she will be a great tutor for kids of any age.

Carina is a really patient tutor who can communicate complicated concepts in a manner that is easy to understand. She is always thinking of new ways to engage and challenge her students so lessons are never boring!

Carina taught me Chinese, 2 years ago, when I was just Secondary 3 and preparing for my O Level Examinations. We had lessons weekly, and she prepped me extensively by giving my weekly Chinese lessons, and sharing with me an abundance of notes which she compiled for me. Although she did not have her set of notes that she prepared for herself since she didn't require extra materials for her own exams, she went online and sourced for other tuition agency materials through asking her friends for them. she really went the extra mile for me, and im glad to say that her tutoring really paid off! I got awarded an A1 in Chinese, and an A2 in Higher Chinese, which is equivalent to A* and A respectively. I am really happy about my grades :)

Carina is honestly one of the friendliest person I have ever seen! being a volunteer with her really reinforces this fact where she is patient and always have a smile on her face even when dealing with the most difficult of students. It always amazes me to see how much patience a human being can have. definitely recommend carina as a teacher to any one of your children/ you! if you're looking for one. her student has always achieved academic excellence. for example, a student jumped from a C/B- student to being an A- student in class. Her school teacher even praised her and awarded her with being the most improved student in her class!

I've been tutoring with Carina at our local (Singapore) tuition centre where we both tutored primary and secondary school children (aged 9 to 16 years) Chinese. Having both graduated from Nanyang Girls High School, we were able to use our Chinese skills to help improve each other's skills.
