Meet Your English Tutor: Certified, Experienced & Passionate About Communication
Hello and welcome!
I am a Trinity CertTESOL-qualified English tutor and a Tier I Economics graduate with three years of experience teaching English to Korean, Japanese, and Indian students. My teaching journey has allowed me to work with learners from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them develop their English skills and become more confident communicators.
My academic background in Economics has also strengthened my analytical thinking, communication, and presentation skills. I have won prizes for research and debates on economics-related topics, including finance, which has given me valuable experience in presenting ideas clearly, constructing arguments, and speaking confidently in front of an audience.
My teaching philosophy
I believe that learning English should be practical, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. You should not have to feel embarrassed about making mistakes or worry about speaking imperfectly.
My lessons focus on understanding the fundamentals, practicing consistently, receiving constructive feedback, and applying what you learn to real-life situations.
