About Mei
I am a third-year (2026) university student studying a Bachelor of Music Performance - Classical (Viola) at the University of Melbourne.
Starting viola at the age of 12, I have been taught by a number of teachers in school, workshops, music camps, and privately. This has given me the ability to adapt teaching styles to fit your needs.
I have experience in group and individual violin and viola teaching and experience in conducting and leading ensembles. I have experience teaching in the AMEB syllabus and preparing students for exams in a positive and constructive way, prioritizing the students' well-being and enjoyment.
I am patient, enthusiastic, and invested in helping students improve their skill level, enjoyment of
performance, and encouraging them to broaden their orchestral experiences.
I can teach any age starting from 5 years old!
I am able to travel to lessons, however, there will be an additional charge for travel costs :)
