About Dorcas
Hello,
My name is Dorcas and I've been a tutor for three years. I specialise in helping GCSE English Language and Literature students improve their performance.
I am committed to each student's growth and academic access, and I have a kind and caring demeanour. I've been able to give discouraged students the academic confidence they needed to succeed. Working within the curriculum, I have assisted GCSE students from levels 5 to 8 and 9, as well as those with learning disabilities, in improving their results. As a business student, I have experience working in the field of digital marketing, which has given me a sense of how to use deliberate word play to draw readers in.
With a calm and sympathetic attitude, I do love to try and assist each student in finding some enjoyment in what they are doing. I really believe in the influence that education can have on the lives of young people. I sincerely hope I can assist with your child's academics.
