About Rojin

Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been tutoring since I was 15, and over the years, teaching has become one of the most rewarding and meaningful parts of my life. I’ve worked with students at every stage — from middle schoolers learning the foundations of math, to high school students navigating tough chemistry courses, to elementary school special education learners needing patient, tailored support. Now as a medical student, I’ve continued that passion by creating a weekly review program for first-year med students, designed to make dense material more approachable and easier to retain. The program was so successful that it was officially integrated into the school’s curriculum, and I’m proud to say my sessions now have the highest attendance of any class on campus. I believe every student deserves to feel supported and capable — no matter the subject or starting point. My teaching style is warm, clear, and structured, and I always make room for questions, conversation, and real understanding. I’m here to help you strengthen your knowledge, build confidence, and reach your academic goals with less stress and more success!

My Approach as a Tutor Tutoring is built upon clarity, patience, and personalization. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style — whether visual, auditory, or hands-on — and focus on building both understanding and confidence. I don’t just teach what to learn, but how to learn, so students develop skills they can apply independently. Teaching Method and Techniques I break complex concepts into simple, logical steps using real-world examples and active questioning to ensure true understanding. I also teach study techniques like spaced repetition, active recall, and problem-based learning to reinforce long-term retention. Typical Lesson Plan - Quick review of previous material to anchor knowledge - Set clear goals for the session - Practice exercises What Sets Me Apart As a medical student myself, I understand both the academic pressure and the need for efficient, effective study habits. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, and I emphasize critical thinking over memorization. My goal is to help students not only pass but truly master the material. Who Are the Lessons For? I tutor: Pre-med, medical, and allied health students (Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, and Clinical Reasoning) High school and undergrad students in biology, chemistry, and math ESL students looking to improve academic English and medical terminology Whether you're preparing for a tough exam, trying to strengthen your foundation, or just looking for extra support, I’m here to help you succeed!
