About Cara
I'm a friendly and reliable person currently studying medicine in Galway. I have always loved science, in particular Biology and want to help foster this love in others, or at least help make it seem less confusing and more approachable.

As a student myself, I know how important it is to be taught content in a way that suits your learning style. This is why I like to work with my students to find ways to help them learn and retain information effectively and help them organize their revision so they can achieve academic success not just now but in the future too. I typically offer 1 hour to 1.5 hour lessons, as I feel this is enough time to review previous content, focus on something new, and put it into practice. I will always cater the plan to your needs so we can find the best methods that help you. Previously, I have done tutoring both one-on-one and as part of small groups for students from first year to leaving cert level so I am comfortable in both situations

Cara is a great tutor. I’ve always struggled with chemistry and had been finding it difficult to the point of considering dropping to pass. Cara was very understanding and considerate, and with her help I’ve gone from getting H7/H8s all the way to getting H3s regularly. Thanks to Cara’s patience and clear explanations I have drastically improved and now feel confident going into my exams
