About Alyssa
Hi! My name is Alyssa and I’m a third year medical student at Monash University. I understand how difficult high school can be, especially if you’re taking IB as a pre-university diploma. Knowing what I know now by going through IB and medical school myself, I believe I know the techniques that would allow students to succeed in the best way they can. I am personally a peer mentor at university, and I have helped my mentees pass their exams with confidence. I figured I could also give it a go for high schoolers too, since it is a daunting and stressful time, especially right before university applications. Don’t hesitate to reach out!

First-time tutor, I will be using spatial repetition and active recall as the basis of my tutoring, as well as continuous past paper and practice questions. I can teach at an IB DP level (grades 11-12) or lower. My lessons can range from 1-3 hours, it can depend on the student and the amount of time they think will suffice to gain something from the session.
