About Natalie
I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Victoria with a strong interest in problem solving, design, and learning how complex systems work. Through my studies and projects, I have developed a strong foundation in math, physics, and engineering concepts. I enjoy helping others understand challenging material and breaking down difficult problems into clear, manageable steps. My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence in their abilities and develop strong problem-solving skills that they can apply independently.

As a mechanical engineering student, I understand the challenges students face when learning technical material. I focus on teaching clear problem-solving strategies rather than memorization, helping students become more confident and independent learners. My approach as a tutor focuses on helping students build a strong understanding of concepts while developing clear problem-solving methods. I break complex topics into smaller steps and explain the reasoning behind each step so students can learn how to approach similar problems independently. My lessons are for high school and early university students studying math, physics, or introductory engineering courses such as calculus, mechanics, or thermodynamics.
