About Zamambo
My name is Zamambo, everyone calls me Zam, and I’m originally from Durban, in South Africa. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts. I received my TETL certificate in 2022. After receiving my TEFL certificate, I began teaching English as a Second Language in Thailand. I have been working with young children ages 7-11 years old. I have gained experience working with a diverse group of students.
In my teaching career, I’ve developed a passion for helping students improve their language skills, and I’ve honed my ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach a variety of levels, from beginner to intermediate, and I’m comfortable adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and watching movies. I believe that having interests outside of work helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance, which is important for my overall well-being.

My teaching philosophy is centered around the idea that every student can succeed if given the right tools and support. I believe in creating a classroom environment that is inclusive, engaging, and challenging.
As an ESL teacher, I make the lessons fun and interactive and I try to breakaway from the traditional monotonous classroom style setting of being taught.
I bring enthusiasm and passion when dealing with learners (Pre level A1 and above) who needs to learn English for day to day conversations or even for business purposes. I adapt my lessons to suit each students specific needs, age group, and English ability.
