About Marion
I am creative and confident when facing a new challenge. The confidence stems from my training as a performer and director, which has also aided in the development of my communication skills, whether that be in English or in French.
Through my experience as a language coach, I have developed an aptitude for patience within interpersonal relationships and an expertise in finding students’ individual style of learning.
Language consultant to Dialect Department:
I translate lines in realistic conversational French, find alternative versions with suitable phonetics and create resources for the actors to learn them.

I am passionate about teaching real French and correct pronunciation. Thanks to this, I currently work as a language coach for actors specialized in phonetics. I still have time for regular students locally.
My lessons are each tailored to the individual student`s needs. I am a very patient person. I do not feel bored or frustrated by slow progress. Therefore I do not "fake" my student`s progress and maintain the realistic pace he/she needs. The most common problem with current teaching when it doesn`t work is that it goes "too fast" and the student just cannot remember or absorb what happened and is left with nothing. I can deal with repetitive techniques if needed and I genuinely empathize with what the student is faced with.
I love teaching beginners or people who are struggling to understand their subjects. It really stimulates me to adapt to someone`s difficulties. I have always achieved high academic results in my school years but only after "finding my own little tricks" which I now share and re-invent for each of my students.
Whether it`s using recordings to learn French, making flashcards, or the right youtube videos - I am passionate at finding strategies that suit the students best.

I have received lessons from Marion for several years now. She is a charming young lady and an excellent teacher.
Her particular virtue is her flexibility and tolerance. The lessons flow smoothly and I am always free to ask for tuition to suit my requirements. For example I can ask her to explain some aspect of the language I have found in another context and she has no objection to structure the classes as I wish such as talking to me slowly in French so that I can attune my ear.
