About Basil
I am a natural linguist, who wants to help people with their French, deepen their understanding of its culture, and make their French learning fun. My French lessons at school were boring and seemed a waste of time. I don't want you to miss out in the same way.

Each lesson will be 1 hour, and you will get weekly homework. I use techniques such as Direct instruction (where I give step-by-step instructions and examples) and the Demonstration Method (where I show how to do something, like write a 28-marker) and Boomerang learning (where I teach you something and then you send it back to me, for example in an essay or in a quiz). The lessons are for ages 11 - 16. At my school I have taken part in peer mentoring.
