About Jess
Jess Kingsford (PhD) is a childhood development specialist and the founder of Happy Hearts Parenting. With a Doctorate from the University of Sydney School of Psychology, her research focused on childhood moral development, an area of development she now brings into practical, everyday parenting.
Jess has worked and taught at the University of Sydney, Charles Sturt University, and the University of Texas. She is known for translating research into clear, practical strategies that help parents promote their children's mental and emotional well-being through connection, kindness and contribution.
Based in the Blue Mountains NSW, Jess is also a parent of two, bringing both professional expertise and real-life insight to her work.
