About Thalia
Previously student of the Grenoble Alpes University, I possess a Master's Degree in trilingual international trades. I have learnt many trades making me a mine of information and knowledge.
I have taught in France and in Japan, mostly at a high school level, and some adult classes for beginners and business.
I have always loved teaching people a new language and new trades, and I have always loved learning myself for learning a language is an endless lesson forged through experiences and meetings.

I work in collaboration with my husband Temma, Japanese teacher and native Japanese.
With 5 years of experience in teaching, I stand out for the richness of my multidisciplinary background.
I combine finance knowledge (currently a student for a finance analyst master degree), contract negociation knowledge and teaching experience.
This long experience has given me great expertise in the professional world which considerably enriches my job as a professor. I know both theory and practice.
My passion, moreover, for literature and my vocation for teaching made me leave the world of my trade to become, since then, a French teacher in a japanese High School.
Passionate about my job, I adapt to each student, whatever their level, from those who are experiencing difficulties to those who are already at the topof the class and looking to consolidate their skills.
I regularly keep up to date with the latest educational advances. I use innovative teaching methods, different from those usually used in class to raise my students to the maximum of their possibilities.
My approach: to move my students from simple "readers" to "authors" of their own writings. I train them in writing, to find their own style to gain expression, understanding, autonomy and maturity.
Finally, classes are always held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. It is in fact when the course is pleasant, both for the teacher and for the student, that the latter reaches their full potential.
