Reading and writing have been a central part of my life since high school when I accidentally enrolled in AP English my freshman year. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and write academically and professionally in both languages. I graduated with a Bachelors in English Literature from Texas State University with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude). Went on to work as a copywriter for a local marketing company while writing freelance for Bon Appetit Magazine and my own fiction short stories. Currently I am working on my Masters in English Literature at Texas State University where I am half way through my thesis (in which I write about Latinx identity, embodiment and Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s philosophy). Currently, two of my essays from my Masters classes will be presented and published in two separate international literary and philosophy conferences at the end of 2023.
