About Hilary
Hi! I’m a certified math educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in middle school classrooms. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math Education from Buffalo State College and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Niagara University. As both a teacher and a mom of three, I understand how important it is to support kids not just academically, but emotionally and personally. I’ve always had a passion for teaching, and I love helping students build confidence in math—especially in areas where they may feel unsure. My goal is to make math approachable, understandable, and maybe even fun! I offer personalized 1-on-1 tutoring, either in person or online, designed to meet each student where they are and help them grow from there. When I’m not teaching or spending time with my kids, you’ll find me hiking, reading, or soaking up sunshine—I’m definitely solar powered!
