About Shannice
Hello everyone! My name is Shannice and I am a certified Level 5 TEFL English tutor from the north of England. I have always had a passion for languages since studying English Language and Spanish at GCSE and A-Level.
When I was 19, I moved to Florence, Italy where I decided to complete my first TEFL course. During this time, I taught English to my Italian friends as I found it incredibly rewarding to see their progression. It was also great to exchange languages and learn about another culture whilst enjoying the beauty of Italy!
I now live in the UK but I still love to explore the world and meet local people to understand more about authentic cuisines and traditions. I enjoy being creative, reading, running, and cooking.

Each lesson will be tailored to your level and your goals. I aim to help students learn new vocabulary and focus on speaking as much as possible by using Communicative Language Teaching to help students with real-life situations and to ensure the sessions are more interactive!
We can simply have a conversation to help your practice pronunciation and fluency or work through exercises together to help with grammatical understanding. I will also provide helpful resources such as literature, video clips, and informational documents.
