About Rozanne
Hello my name is Rozanne. I am born in the beautiful, windy culturally rich city of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. I traveling, cooking, baking, meeting people from other cultures, watching movies and series and of course shopping! I am a friendly, ambitious, easy going people's person.
My passion for English started when I was in high school, and guess what? I was even awarded a diploma! I was so excited when I registered for my TEFL Universal Online Teaching course, and even more so, when I passed with a distinction, yea!
I know how challenging it is to learn a new language- I had first-hand experience when Xhosa (which is one of South Africa's 11 official languages), was one of my compulsory subjects at Varsity- so I know exactly what it feels like, and I am here to help you through this language learning journey. I am flexible, approachable and always willing to help. I have a student-centered approach and my main aim is to use the four basic learning skills, which is: listening, speaking, reading and writing, by making use of video's, music, audio's, books and lots of fun and games while teaching. My focus if mainly on Word Formation, Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation and so much more!

I prefer private (online) tutoring because it is one-on-one as opposed to in-person tutoring.
I am patient and like to try things in different ways to help explain what I am trying to teach, such a making use of videos, charts, podcasts, etc.
I am fluent in English as well as Afrikaans and love listening to music and would incorporate listening to the lyrics of words to enhance listening skills. My aim is mostly working with adults, but I love working with kids too!
