About Barbara
Hi! I’m Barbara, a TEFL-certified English teacher who is passionate about helping students of all ages and levels become confident English speakers.
I support learners with ESL, TESOL, IELTS preparation, conversational English, English for beginners, English for travelling, interview preparation, English for studying abroad, and English for children. I create friendly, interactive, and personalised lessons based on each student’s level, goals, and interests.
My lessons focus on practical communication, speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and fluency. I’m patient, encouraging, and supportive, and I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
Whether you’re preparing for an exam, getting ready for an interview, planning to travel or study abroad, or simply want to improve your everyday English, I’m here to help you reach your goals.

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with 6 years of teaching experience, working with learners of different ages, levels, backgrounds, and learning styles. I am passionate about helping students improve their English while building the confidence they need to communicate naturally in real-life situations.
Certifications & Education
I hold a 120-hour TEFL certification, which has provided me with a strong foundation in English language teaching, lesson planning, classroom management, teaching methodology, and working with learners of different levels.
Teaching Methodology
My teaching style is communicative, student-centred, and practical. I use conversations, role-plays, real-life situations, interactive activities, and task-basedlearning to give students plenty of opportunities to use English actively. I also use an immersive approach where appropriate, encouraging students to use English naturally throughout the lesson.
I adapt my teaching methods according to each learner's age, level, personality, learning style, and goals. I believe mistakes are a natural and important part of learning, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking and practising without fear.
