About Charlotte
I've worked with and taught students of all ages and English levels over the last several years in various capacities. I've been a college writing tutor, an English teacher for Korean children, and I was even an au pair for a French family for several months. Older students have told me I'm friendly and patient, and I've received many wonderful notes from younger students' parents over the years expressing how their child has enjoyed my classes and grown more confident. English is a crazy and often frustrating language, so I hope to help each student make sense of it one step at a time.

I'm happy to work with anyone of any age group and of any English level. Our lessons will be centered on building on what you already know. For English language skills, that may be based on having simple conversations and concentrating on particular aspects of vocabulary or grammar. For higher level speakers who wish to improve in a particular area or build their vocabulary on a specific topic, we can start there. For those looking for writing help, we'll start by evaluating where you are in the writing process of an assignment. Or, if you just want help and practice in a particular aspect of writing, we can do that too!
However, please keep in mind that a tutor is NOT a proofreader. I am happy to help you learn and practice the skills you need to proofread your own work, but academic integrity prohibits a tutor taking the role of an editor.
